About Alexis
Alexis Guerreros is what happens when a sharp stand-up brain, a lifelong love of soccer, and a dangerous knowledge of pizza all collide in one person. Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey by a single Cuban mother who could land a punch and a punchline, Alexis turned surviving into storytelling and storytelling into a career.
He walked away from a cushy corporate job, picked up a mic, and never looked back. (His wife has, but that’s a separate issue.) Since then, Alexis has become a fixture of New York City comedy, performing nightly across the city’s best clubs and festivals nationwide.
You’ve seen him on CBS’s Morning Footy, heard him co-hosting The Cooligans on Yahoo Sports, caught him voicing three characters on BoJack Horseman, and watched him host NBC’s Premier League Fan Fest. Off stage, he’s somehow become a national authority on pizza, equal parts expert and menace. Take him to your favorite slice spot and he’ll tell you exactly why you’re wrong.
Alexis isn’t just funny. He’s proof that you can be brutally honest, wildly entertaining, and still somehow make everyone at the table feel like they’re in on the joke.
